Ochayee’s Tamil movie audio was launched on May 30th, 2010 in Australia. The audio was released by the well-known activist and Brisbane City Council Councillor Helen Abraham of the Australian Labor Party and the first CD was received by Moneygram International Ms Janice Ong, Business Development Manager for Australia, Pacific and Oceania and the second CD was handed over to a well respected Tamil elder Mr. Ramasundaram belonging to the Tamil community there.
Tamilians from various parts of the world including India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore and Fiji attended the event. The welcome speech was given by the PMR International representative Ramanathan Karuppiah and Muthu Kumar Raju of the same organization proposed the vote of thanks. The event was coordinated by Palani Thevar.
